The Nigerian Golden Eaglets cruised to a convincing victory against the Samba boys of Brazil in a quarter final match of the ongoing FIFA under 17 World Cup in Chile.
3 first half goals from Victor Osimhen (29mins), Kingsley Micheal (30mins) and Udochukwu Anumudu (34mins) were enough to decide the encounter. Nigeria will now face the winner of the match between Ecuador and Mexico in a Semi- final match slated for Thursday, 5th of November, 2015.
It is worthwhile to remember that Nigerian Golden Eaglets have played in a record 7 semi-finals and have won all their matches!
In another news, Mali came out triumphant with a lone goal in their match against Croatia and will go ahead to play the winner of the match between Belgium and Costa Rica. With this, we cannot rule out the possibility of an all African final clash.
