Ahead of the January 7 2016 GLO CAF award gala night scheduled to be held in Abuja, Nigeria, the initial 23 man nominees list released by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has been trimmed down to 10 with no Nigerian player making the adjusted list.
The duo of Vincent Eyeama and Ahmed Musa whose performances have been exceeding for both country and club side were shunned in the adjusted list. We should recollect they made the final 10 in the last edition that was eventually won by the Ivorian Yahyah Toure.

- Modather Al Tayeb "Karika" - Sudan
The winner is expected to be decided by votes by coaches or technical directors of countries affiliated to CAF.
